FILTERPAK COMPACT WATER PURIFIER
Compact water purifier, designed especially for supplying drinking water to small towns and villages. Based on a physical-chemical process (coagulation-flocculation), with sedimentation by sludge bed, granular filtration and chemical or ultraviolet (UVA) disinfection.

PROCESS
System whereby the effluent to be treated is subjected to a physical-chemical process, in a circular tank, in which coagulation and flocculation take place, followed by sedimentation in a sludge bed, in which circulation takes place by gravity, resulting in the precipitation of solids. Subsequently, the effluent is filtered in a granular bed inside metal tanks under pressure. To disinfect it, sodium hypochlorite is applied or else it is subjected to ultraviolet radiation (UVA), obtaining water that is suitable for storage and distribution for human consumption.
