Surface sweeping mechanism for removing grease and oils from the wastewater, installed on a metal or concrete tank.
The greases and floating sludge carried by the effluent that arrives in the tank is retained in this mechanism by a screen. They are floated by large bubbles from diffusers arranged at the bottom of the tank. The sweeping mechanism arranged on the surface extracts them and discharges them outside the tank.
Rack: Supports the entire unit, sweeping unit and actuator system.
Sweeping system: Made up of transport chains, pinions, shafts and bearings, as well as the sweeping scrapers.
Actuator system: Made up of an electric gear reducer coupled with the rotor shaft.
Discharge ramp: This is the part to which the grease and floating sludge are transported in order to be discharged.
